Mission
Our Mission at Bilingual Kiddie College is to provide child care in an educational setting. Children thrive in our dynamic Bilingual curriculum. Our program at Bilingual Kiddie College is an English and Spanish immersion approach. What we read and learn in English we will also do in Spanish.
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) is also a part of our curriculum with an addition to Art.
In addition to teaching children Spanish we also introduce and teach them sign language. This is a great tool to help little ones when they are learning how to speak.
Music and Movement also enhances our teaching and this is very instrumental when teaching a new language. Music is a great way to introduce Spanish to non speakers.
We practice differentiated instruction. As we know all children learn in different ways. For example one child can learn better with visuals and another learns more with music.
Our methology here at Bilingual Kiddie College is for our children to become more independent. We encourage our children to hang their jackets and lunch bags in their cubbie everyday. They wash their hands on their own with supervision. They also know what is expected of them as we do these tasks everyday. It is amazing to see the toddlers also developing independent characteristics.
